The University of Tulsa’s College of Law recognized graduating students, faculty and staff during its 2026 Awards Ceremony on April 18 at the McFarlin Mansion. The event celebrated academic excellence, leadership, service, advocacy and professional achievement across the UTulsa Law community.
Student Honors

Morgan Williams received three of the evening’s top honors: the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding Student Award, presented to the college’s most outstanding student; and the Judge W. Lee Johnson Award for the highest cumulative grade-point average.
Lori Whitlock earned the Oklahoma Bar Foundation Chapman-Rogers Award for leadership, the Oklahoma City Chapter Federal Bar Association Holloway Scholars Award and the R. Steven Chandler Award, which recognizes the graduating student who inspires others to achieve more than they otherwise would.
Rachel Burrell received the Martin A. Fellows Smith Award, presented by the faculty to the most outstanding graduating student based on scholarship and leadership.
William Reynolds received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Community Service. Tre’Anna Hinds received the Access to Justice Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award, and Ashon (Chris) Robinson received the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award.
Forrest Kinney and Morgan Williams received the Robert C. Butler Jr. Award for contributions to the Tulsa Law Review.
Practice Area and Professional Awards
Alexander Wilkinson and Mikayla Stacy received the Oklahoma Bar Association Energy and Natural Resources Law Award. Alexa Miranda received the Tulsa County Bar Association Energy and Mineral Law Award.
Bryce Bryan and Sunshine Graham earned the Oklahoma Bar Association Business and Corporate Law Award.
Madison Foster received the Oklahoma Bar Association G. William Rice Memorial Award, presented to a student intending to practice Indian law in Oklahoma.
Micah Sanford garnered the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Award.
Taylor Wilson received the Martin H. Belsy Public Interest Law Award.
Emily Taylor won the Oklahoma Bar Association Trust and Estate Law Award.
Stanton Thomas received the Oklahoma Bar Foundation Marvin Emerson / Robert G. Spector Award.
Grant McClendon, Joshua Ryan Miller and River Jacobson received the Oklahoma Bar Association Litigation Award for advocacy skills.
Wade Jameson earned the Oklahoma Bar Foundation Partners for Justice Award, which recognizes diligence of purpose and potential for success as an Oklahoma lawyer.
Service, Writing and Professionalism Awards

The George and Jean Price Award, which recognizes excellence in legal reasoning, authorities and writing, was presented to Jaci Bennett, Calle Coleman, Michael Gallardo, Amelia Jackson, Amaris Joseph, Shanna Kinney and Briana Quinata.
The April M. Fox Award for Ambassador Service recognized Michael Addison, Adriana Cervantes, Mackenzie Clark, Trinity Douglas, Lilly Edwards, Razann Ghazal, Dana Gillentine, Micah Sanford and Taylor Wilson.
The William Means Professionalism Award was presented to Chris Robinson and Jaden Snyder for excellence in professional responsibility.
Advocacy and Academic Distinction
The Order of Barristers recognized excellence in moot court and mock trial. Honorees were Mackenzie Clark, Trinity Douglas, Sunshine Graham, Kaitlin Pogue, Grant Hansel, Erica Holt, Coe Miller, Alexandra Morrison, Chloe O’Connell, Brayden Oglesby and Loralei Trebilcock.

The G. William Rice Award for Outstanding Oral Advocacy went to Alexandra Morrison and Brayden Oglesby.
The Order of the Curule Chair, the college’s highest academic honor, recognizes students ranked in the top 10% of the class who also demonstrated distinguished service to the university. Honorees were Rachel Burrell, Gracie Ma, Brayden Oglesby, Madison Foster, Alexandra Morrison, Ryan Silva, Morgan Williams and Lori Whitlock.
Faculty and Staff Honors
Matt Lamkin received the Outstanding First-Year Professor Award. Stephen Galoob received the Outstanding Upper-Class Professor Award. Martin Frey received the Outstanding Adjunct/Visiting Professor Award. Kimbell Childers received the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
