TIME magazine ranks UTulsa among World’s Top Universities for 2026

The University of Tulsa has been named one of the World’s Top Universities for 2026 by TIME Magazine. UTulsa was highlighted for its low student-faculty ratio, financial resources and student and alumni contributions to society.

The framework of these inaugural rankings retains traditional higher education assessments while integrating modern measurements of societal impact and international reach. Using data gathered by Statista R, the leading global provider of consumer data and rankings, the analysis for TIME’s World’s Top Universities ranking is structured around three key pillars involving academic performance, economic impact and global engagement.

The University of Tulsa’s distinguished attributes include strong instructional support, resources devoted to research infrastructure and the production and employment of highly cited global researchers. These UTulsa characteristics contribute to the repeatedly recognized academic achievements and scholarly outputs.
