Top 5 Spring Break Activities at Home

Spring break is finally here! Maybe you’re heading to the coast for a beach vacation, the mountains for a ski trip, or your couch for a staycation. If you don’t have any plans for spring break, keep reading because I’m going to share 5 things that you can do over spring break from the comfort of your home.

1. Apply to TU

Spring break is the perfect time to check some things off your to-do list! Now is the time to apply to TU. Sit down, grab a snack, and take a few minutes to submit your application. You’ll be glad you did it!

2. Watch The College Tour

If you’re still trying to decide on which college to attend, The College Tour is a great way to get the full experience of a university from your own home. Each episode features a different university and is told with the help of current students who love their schools and write their own scripts. Watch TU’s episode of The College Tour.

3. Take the TU Virtual Tour

Take a trip to TU on spring break… through your computer! You can explore TU online with our virtual tour. Current students, staff members, and faculty will guide you through several campus buildings through photos and video.

4. Binge YouTube

While there are many ways to get sucked into your phone or computer over spring break, the most productive one (in my opinion) is YouTube! You can watch inspirational TED Talks, get ideas for DIY projects to do at home, or binge some of The University of Tulsa’s YouTube videos. We post highlights of students, overviews of our programs, snippets about life in Tulsa, and more!

5. Chat with a Current TU Student

All prospective students are able to connect with TU students and staff through our chat platform. You can connect with students based on their hometown, area of study, and hobbies and interests. You can also get important questions you have answered by students and staff!

I hope this post gave you a few ideas of things to do over spring break. Above all, just remember to relax and enjoy this time off! We all need a little R&R sometimes.
