As we begin a new year, I am reminded how much momentum is building across the Collins College of Business and how deeply that momentum is rooted in our people, our partners and our purpose. This newsletter captures who we are becoming: a college that prepares students to lead, innovate and engage confidently with the world.

We are especially proud to share that UTulsa’s entrepreneurship program was recently ranked among the Top 50 by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneurship Magazine. This recognition affirms what our faculty and staff see every day in our classrooms and programs: students who are curious, creative and ready to turn ideas into impact, supported by faculty and centers that believe deeply in experiential learning.

That mindset is also on display as our business students explore careers far beyond campus. In this issue, you’ll read about a recent trip to New York City, where students engaged directly with alumni and industry leaders to better understand global business careers in finance, consulting and technology. These experiences are transformative, helping students connect theory to practice while building professional confidence.

We also feature insights from Greg Kidd, who visited campus through our Friends of Finance series to explore the future of money. Conversations like these, at the intersection of business, technology and society, are essential as we prepare students for a rapidly evolving economic landscape.

Finally, this issue celebrates an extraordinary act of generosity: a $1.5 million gift from Paul and Kara Coury will support scholarships and create a new JOLT Lounge for student collaboration and innovation. This gift reflects a shared belief that environment matters and that investing in students is the most powerful investment of all.

Together with the Research Corner, these stories illustrate that Collins College of Business is advancing knowledge, expanding opportunity and building bridges between Tulsa and the world. Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting the work we do every day.
