Dear alumni and friends,

As autumn settles in, we’re excited to share some recent news from the College of Engineering & Computer Science. Our momentum continues to build, and we’re proud to announce that the college has risen in the U.S. News & World Report rankings. This recognition reflects the dedication and excellence of our students, faculty and staff. We’re grateful for your continued support that helps make these achievements possible.

In September, we welcomed Director General of Pandit Deendayal Energy University S. Sundar Manoharan, Ph.D., for our first Hulings Distinguished Lecture Series of the year. His lecture featured a compelling conversation on the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, a critical issue currently being discussed in the global energy landscape. Events like these continue to enrich our academic community and spark meaningful dialogue.

This season also brings a burst of activity and engagement. The McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering attended the Society of Petroleum Engineers Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in Houston, where our faculty and students are connecting with industry leaders, showcasing the innovative work happening here at UTulsa.

And of course, fall wouldn’t be complete without football. The energy on campus is electric, and we hope you’re cheering on the Golden Hurricane wherever you are.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Your support and connection to the college continue to inspire us as we move forward together.

Warm regards,

Andreas A. Polycarpou
