Carla Guthrie serves as the Primary Official for the U.S. Government Student and Exchange Visitor Program. She is responsible for ensuring TU remains eligible to host International students and scholars by compliance with federal immigration regulations associated with SEVIS. Carla educates and advises students and scholars on immigration regulations and best practices.

She utilizes her skills in both advising and programming to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for our incoming student population. Her goal is to empower students with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in their academic and personal journey. She aims at fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for our diverse student body.
